ACCE Model County Code Ordinance
IN THE MATTER OF REPEALING AND REENACTING, WITH AMENDMENTS, CHAPTER____ ZONING, OF THE ______ CITY/COUNTY CODE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF CITY/COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY/COUNTY OF
_________, STATE OF ______________:
WHEREAS, the Board of Council/County Commissioners of the City/County of ________, State of
______________, pursuant to _______________ is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of ____________ City/County, _____________, and
WHEREAS, the Board of City/County Council/Commissioners adopted a comprehensive Code for the
City/County of _________, including the codification of all previously adopted ordinances of
a general and permanent nature enacted on or before said date of adoption, and
WHEREAS, the ___________City/ County Code needs revision and clarification with
regard to procedures, terms, and requirements therein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of City/County Council/Commissioners of the
City/County of ___________, State of ____________, that Chapter _______Zoning of the __________City/County Code be,
and hereby is, repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows.

ZONING
Microschools, understood as learning environments of 150 students or less who gather in person for educational activities whether full or part time, shall be considered a use by right in any zone in _____________City/ County.
Fire code occupancy classifications for microschools will be determined by the use already permitted for the building.
