Act to Define Clean Energy
Section 1: Findings
It is in the best interest of the state of ____ and its people to encourage and promote the development of clean energy resources to advance reliable, economic, and long-term sources of energy supply, promote efficiencies in the generation, storage, transmission, and utilization of electric energy, and enhance the long-term stability of the energy resources and requirements of the state.
Section 2: Definitions
(a) Sections of current statute defining “renewable energy” will be updated with “clean energy”
(b) The statutes using the definition of “clean energy” will be updated to include power generation supplied by nuclear fuel.
