<h1>State Constitutional Amendment for Term Limits for Congress’ Inflationary Overspenders</h1>
BE IT RESOLVED

Section 1. The following amendment to the Constitution of the State of {insert state} is proposed and agreed to by this, the {insert name of state legislature}, and is referred to the next Legislature for reconsideration and agreement.

Section 2. ARTICLE XX, SECTION XX OF THE CONSTITUTION OF THE STATE OF {INSERT STATE} IS AMENDED TO READ AS FOLLOWS:

“No majority party member of the United States House or Senate from [STATE] shall be eligible for the primary ballot following a fiscal year where total federal spending, excluding Social Security and national emergencies approved by 60% of Congress, exceeds the 4-year moving average annual increase in disposable personal income as calculated by the Bureau of Economic Analysis.”
“The [STATE] Secretary of State shall certify annual compliance with this amendment and, if necessary, prevent primary ballot access as mandated.”
